At theinsightholidays, we aim to maintain transparency and fairness in all our bookings. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before confirming your travel package.
1. Cancellation Policy
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp.
- The date of receipt of the cancellation request will be considered as the cancellation date.
- Cancellation charges vary depending on the package type, destination, and service providers (airlines, hotels, transport).
Cancellation Charges (Indicative)
- More than 30 days before travel: Minimal or no cancellation charges (service fee may apply)
- 15โ30 days before travel: 25%โ50% of the total package cost
- 7โ14 days before travel: 50%โ75% of the total package cost
- Less than 7 days / No-show: 100% cancellation charges (no refund)
Note: Airline, hotel, and third-party supplier cancellation policies may differ and will override the above rules.
2. Refund Policy
- Refunds are applicable only if cancellation terms allow.
- Any applicable refund will be processed after deducting cancellation charges, service fees, and payment gateway charges.
- Refunds will be processed within 7โ14 working days from the date of approval.
- Refunds will be made through the original mode of payment.
3. Non-Refundable Services
The following are generally non-refundable:
- Flight tickets marked as non-refundable
- Visa fees and government taxes
- Travel insurance
- Service charges
- Partially utilized or unused services
4. Amendments & Date Changes
- Date change requests are subject to availability and supplier policies.
- Additional charges may apply for amendments.
- Price differences due to season or availability must be borne by the customer.
5. Force Majeure
theinsightholidays shall not be responsible for refunds due to circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Flight cancellations due to weather or operational issues
Refunds in such cases will depend strictly on supplier policies.
6. Company-Initiated Cancellations
- If theinsightholidays cancels a tour due to unavoidable reasons, customers will be offered:
- An alternative tour/package, or
- A refund as per supplier policies
7. Customer Responsibility
- Customers must carefully review package details before booking.
- theinsightholidays is not responsible for losses due to incorrect personal details provided by the customer.
